REX-10 series ramps can handle loads up to 1000 kg. Formed by extruded aluminium profiles welded together to create a sturdy and reliable structure, the REX-10 ramp provides up to 1000 kg load capacity thanks to two sturdy supports with screw-on metal feet and a technopolymer base installed at the centre of the ramp, on a level with the hinge. In addition, the special lever mechanism ensures that the supports are perpendicular to the ground when the ramp is open. They can also be adjusted in height to suit every requirement. Available sizes: widths 800 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm, and 4 lengths: 2000 mm, 2250 mm, 2500 mm, 3000 mm. Our goal was to minimize the number of components that need to be assembled and welded, thus the aluminium extrusion used to make the ramp was designed through careful engineering analysis verified by E-FEM calculations.
This design enabled us to to keep the final costs down while ensuring a highly durable product. But that’s not all, the aluminium alloy used is sourced from the aeronautical industry and was chosen for its exceptional rigidity. The tread pattern was developed in collaboration with suppliers backed by many years of experience and its distinct design provides the surface of the ramp with incredible grip on any type of material and in any situation, even under challenging wet or dirty conditions. The ramp is very easy to open and close thanks to gas struts ensuring that the operator only a small portion of the ramp’s actual weight is transferred to the operator. We provide a 2-year warranty running from the date of purchase. The tests that our loading ramps undergo during the preliminary trials are extremely stringent: this ramp, like every loading ramp we manufacture, is tested empirically to 2.5 times its rated load capacity. Speed of installation is one of the key strengths of this product.
It takes just one hour and requires only a drill to make 8 holes in the van floor and secure the ramp using the screws and bolts supplied as standard equipment. The swivel base and quick coupling are available as optional extras for this series. The swivel base is a fixed base that allows the ramp to be turned towards both the interior and exterior of the van, leaving the loading area free when the ramp is not needed.
